Sr Digital Analytics Specialist

The Sr Digital Analytics Specialist is responsible for owning and delivering digital channel analysis and reporting for the enterprise. This will include reporting, analyzing, and communicating customer behavior in addition to providing strategic recommendations up to senior level visibility. Ultimately, this role plays a meaningful part in driving increased conversions in all digital channels, as well as an emphasis on improving the customers’ overall web experience in order to drive measurable revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize data to address the what, why, and how of business questions and business applications, knowing how to contribute to marketing strategy by representing the marketing technology team in business meetings and with 3rd parties
  • Analyze customer behavior based on customer segmentation studies and interactions of each consumer with the business and/or website in partnership with business owners
  • Lead the effort to provide strategic recommendations based on a deep understanding of customer behavior and segmentation
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for digital analytics, reporting, and analysis
  • Create & deliver ongoing and ad hoc reporting to meet requests of the business
  • Track and analyze site enhancements and key user flows to proactively identify issues in reporting or tracking as well as to identify changes in customer patterns
  • Collaborate with product owners, hotel strategy, booking engine, and web development teams to develop regular and ongoing monitoring of business health and site performance
  • Manage all digital channel analytics documentation for the team
  • Analyze and report on site performance using Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Microsoft Excel, and other reporting tools up to senior leadership
  • Drive adoption of Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
  • Responsible for maintaining a backlog of reporting and tagging needs
  • Create targetable segments/audiences using both Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Audience Manager
  • Assist with tagging and rule implementation in Google Tag Manager and Adobe Launch as needed
  • Responsible for debugging of issues within the analytics implementation, including new feature QA and signoff
  • Provide functional and technical expertise to support business applications and underlying processes
  • Work with leader to align on priorities, constructively address project work, and build personal development plans

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using analytical tools is required
  • 2+ years’ experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) or similar analytics platforms is required
  • Experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) or Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) is preferred
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both orally and in writing, including up to senior executives
  • Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and cross-divisionally to accomplish goals
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and adapt to evolving business needs
  • Self-directed through ambiguous data exploration with ability to independently employ a wide range of mining and analysis methods
  • Understanding of digital retail operations (marketing channels, targeting and personalization, digital merchandising, site production)
  • 2+ years in a related field, such as analytics, digital media, eCommerce, or similar
  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Solution oriented; positively impacts the environment of his or her direct team and department
  • Bachelor's degree required
